I’ve not had as much time, as I’d of liked to work on my quilt, but some progress has been made – I’m almost finished couching the thick blue thread, around the quilt. 🪡👏

39 : hmmm i think i'd give sunday something like sewing (namely w/ handstitching) or knitting or both who knows. something that he can just get into the zone of and it can help keep hands occupied if anxious. as for aven lowkey i can see him enjoying puzzles

I did a test sample of this embroidered butterfly, to see if I like it enough, before adding one to my Bits & Bobs quilt.

Result: I think it’s lacking the charm, I was hoping for. 😁🪡

Would not sew this again without heavily modifying the build. Lots of handstitching for the collar and the split back combined with no liner created a bit of a mess visually without any obvious benefit.

Building a picture, cut from fabric, is fun way to create a design.
