I've made a #VRChat Canny bug report about the HandType issue here, at least until I find another way to do it (can't find a way online):

April is #DalitHistoryMonth. It is also #PoetryMonth for a number of English-speaking netizens. A few years ago I had done a twitter thread of Dalit and Bahujan poets. This year, I will try to do women.

Has anyone had success with discerning Left vs Right trigger pulls in #VRChat on a gamepad?
I've tried both PS4 and XboxOne controllers on PC (desktop) and iOS, and using HandType from InputUse and InputGrab only provides Right Hand. Unity's input functions for it don't seem to work, either.

I recently learned about tempera sticks and I'm really enjoying them, they're gushy and slick like drawing with lipstick but not sticky or thick like an oil pastel. They dry really matte and flat as long as you don't layer too much, and you can draw right over them with pen or pencil! #sketchbook

Mmmm... I grew up in a printshop: setting handtype in a composing stick. Placing type in a chase for inking and placement in the press. Later I worked for Gannett and saw when an editor hit "send" on his PC the page would transit the ethernet and print out for paste-up in a different building...

My 16 and 18 year olds grew up with an Ubuntu machine and are very grounded when it comes to their devices now. Years of having to handtype out apt commands because they hadn't figured out how to copy/paste changes a child and what they feel is important. 🤪 But they grew up knowing no rm -rf /...
