Doing routine exercise and adding 5 lb handweights to the reps to make them harder. I feel like Goku

Finally using my stupid handweights by deciding I won't have a routine, I'll use them whenever, for however long I want, and I'll do whatever I want with them. As long as I'm a bit pooped afterward. Reminding myself of that famous mantra: tedium is the gunskiller

Wouldn't care except now everyone is stressed and I can't find my handweights

If I dropped this weight on the glass table I would have needed to move out of town. Dennis bought it a few weeks ago. Luckily everything went well!

Not his fault handweights resemble dog bones

I'm a middle-aged math teacher who does Peloton rides, lifts light handweights and takes walks, and I'm pretty sure *I* could kick his ass.

E-bike to fitness class this evening, with my mat and handweights in the panniers.

Home the long way round afterwards because, well.... look at it! Why on earth would I want to be stuck in a car, whizzing past moments like this?

"I managed to push you out [redacted] years ago I think I can manage these handweights" 🤣

18. Hmmm add handweights to work outs?

Day 605! Sticking with the current reps on the weights tonight was a good idea. Maybe do that against next time too?

I should also consider maybe doing tricep kickbacks with the handweights, not just through ring fit. Much to consider.

Day 699! So next time I do weights, I will up my handweights up to 22 lbs (the final option on them) and try to adjust to this
3x5 latlifts
30 squats (which I guess is now with 44lbs since I hold both while doing them? Man that's a lot)
we'll say 50 alternating curls
September 5, 2025 at 11:39 PM
Day 609! On the weights, I got caught up on my reps and decided to change the overheads and curl to divvy the reps by more sets. That helped a lot, I think!
I'll try to maintain this for a bit, then look into increasing my handweights.

Oohh! I've been working my triceps a lot! I usually do skullcrushers or overhead lifts. I'm almost at 45 lbs handweights!

Bought some handweights today to help me do more strength training exercises. I'm choosing to invest more in myself.

My toe and i both agree that my handweights should not be stored 40cm above floor level.

Day 613! A comically very focused session since I did no jogging courses.

Barbell was unchanged, I'm focusing on changes to the handweights today. As noted earlier.

lemme tell ya, when you do all those weights, you really work up a ridiculous sweat all up in your hair. awful stuff.

Day 695! So the barbell actually felt really smooth tonight. Felt nice!
I think when I do up the weights, I'll do the handweights first. I might have to change up the reps into more sets on the lat lifts though. Those are just...going nowhere.

Stretching does eff all for my pain, but slowly lifting 1kg handweights to engage my shoulderblades makes every day MUCH less painful
