Honestly it's way more than a handful. It includes
Albania (Shqipëria)
Bhutan (Druk Mul)
China (Zhongguo)
Egypt (Misr)
Finland (Suomi)
Georgia (Sakartvelo)
Germany (Deutschland)
Greece (Ellada)
India (Bharat and similar)
Hungary (Magyarország)
Japan (Nihon)
Both Koreas (Choson and Hanguk)
Turkiye spelling issue just reminding me how weird it is that in the 21st century there's still a handful of countries we refer to in English with totally different names than the actual people of that country use.

I tend to prefer USAn, but you know perfectly well what it means, so don't pretend it's unclear.

As for unwelcome demonyms, "North Korean" and "South Korean" ("Joseon-in" in the North and "Hanguk-in" in the South; both translate as "Korean" into English).

Even the names used for North and South Korea in Asia are interesting and laden with history. South Koreans used the term "Hanguk" to refer to all of Korea (or just the south, as a shorthand), with Namhan and Bukhan specific to South and North respectively.

Hanguk is only South Korea. North Koreans call their country Chosun.

You may have heard of Agawec, Bharat, Choson, Druk Yul, Ellada, Hanguk, Hayastán, Magyarország, Misr, Namhan, Sak'art'velo, Shqipëria, Suomi, or Zhōngguó, but I like the fact that unless you have at least some (even non-speaking) familiarity with the language, you can't deduce where they are

I've known that no one in Korea uses the word "Korea". Its called 한국, aka Hanguk.

But was finally curious what is America?

미국 (Miguk)

literally "Beautiful Country"
😀

The Chinese split the difference, calling North Korea "cháoxiǎn" (the geographic term for the Korean peninsula, derived from Chosun) and - since diplomatic recognition - calling South Korea "Hánguó" (after Hanguk), seeming to imply entirely separate countries and identities.
