one thing that ensconced my scepticism of unaccountable authority was being made to sit with our student teacher for at least 30 minutes every week with him trying to find 10 words I couldn't spell because my actual teacher had some hangup about this. the student teacher was chill though

like that's the only purpose of me sharing a post about it. if you already were against e621 for other reasons then nothing's changed, but a lot of ppl who follow me submitted takedowns SPECIFICALLY due to AI concerns, so if that was their primary hangup then i wanted them to know it's been resolved

I used to think DST vs Standard Time was a Congress hangup, but now I realize average Americans don't know which label is which. We "fall back" to Standard Time. So as of today, we are on Standard Time. You "spring forward" to Daylight Saving Time. The return to DST will be March 14, 2027.
