Reports from Somaliland media, like Warya TV, indicate a high-level US delegation arrived in Hargeisa on Dec 26, 2025, for talks on security and recognition.

I couldn’t find any official US State Department confirmation yet.

Israel has officially recognized Somaliland as an independent and sovereign state.

In return, Somaliland may grant Israel access to its territory for a military base to monitor Houthi activity and the Red Sea.

Laas Geel es una formación rocosa a 43 km de Hargeisa, con pinturas rupestres datadas entre el 9.000 y el 3.000 A.C. Fueron ‘descubiertas’ en 2002 por un equipo de arqueología francés.
En realidad los pobladores de la zona conocían su existencia desde siempre.
