I decided that The Old Man did in fact consider the book Frankenstein while he was creating Deuteronomy which is why he opted for a quadrupedal assistant rather than a human one. The Old Man literally like 'rip to victor but im different'

JW is my oldest fully developed OC and he's so so important and precious to me but I have a lot of anxiety about when it comes time to share his full story due to a few things. Big Spoilers for the Hawksaw books but they wont see the sun for years anyway>>

-rubs my face- maybe this weekend i'll work on some design stuff with my oc Knives. He's a pretty big part of the Hawksaw books even though I barely draw him anymore. MOSTLY because he has a TROUBLING DESIGN. A choice I made in college when I was ignorant and did 0 research. thats no excuse tho :/

I'm glad you agree! Someone made a point onetime of all these movie monsters or creepy pasta characters having these well-established "rules" they follow and it's hard to take them seriously. I don't think the Hawksaw stories are actual horror but like. the vibe

shout out to this terrible meme drawover of JW and Horas making out. It breaks my heart that it doesn't work out for them, I need to come up with something for Horas to do once he accepts that he is not part of the House of Twisted Polycule.

He does lie to townspeople in Hawksaw so he can keep all the supernatural stuff under wraps for a few reasons. One being Bugle is twisting his arm about keeping the town 'calm' and the other is he knows how the knowledge has affected his mental health. When you know there are things it gets bad.

Who is this gloomy girl? What happened to JW's ghoul eye? A lot of details are still up in the air, but Fern is a youth who ends up hanging around JW and Jeff in the future to deal with supernatural shit in her life and also her family is neglectful. MAGIC GAY DADS FOR FERN!!!!
