Idk if when I said spicy in response to his question for mild spicy that he made it regular spicy or their spicy, but I was sniffling, sweating, tearing up, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Plus the sip of masala chai after taking a bite sent me to heaven

“Alright, guys.” Charlie started out, not long after everyone had their drinks in hand and had just started out trying them. “Kiss, marry, kill.” “Kiss? Not fuck?” Angel instantly replied, snorting. “It’s my idea, so I choose how it goes!” Was Charlie’s equally fast rebuttal, and Husk witnessed Angel snorting again and holding out a pair of hands as in defeat. “Hah, ‘kay. You’re the princess here.” That being said, he was back to taking a sip from his glass before continuing. “I’m very in, gotta say. In fact, you better make it interestin’ or I’m takin’ over.” Of course he was in, with that penchant for gossip of his-- not like Husk was any better. “I have never played before, sssso…” Pentious then added. “So you’re gonna go first?” Cherri intervened next, glancing at him with utmost smugness. Though, against all odds, he turned out to fare pretty good. “Well-- sssince it would be my firssst time, I would like to sssee how it goes. At leassst one round, pleassse?” “Bummer.” Both Cherri and Angel said. “But ‘kay.” “I’ll go first.” Husk himself replied, partly to give Pentious a save and partly because… Hm, he couldn’t expect to simply listen and not be roped into the game at some point; thus, the sooner he could get over it and take the backseat, the better. As expected, all eyes were now on him and gleaming with excitement too-- one might think he had just given them the chance of a lifetime. No second was lost, because Cherri instantly leaned in, whispering something in Charlie’s ear. Which, by the excited ‘huh’ the princess let out, it was crystal clear the input was definitely going to be used. “Then, Husk: what about Alastor, Angel and Pentious?” Charlie hadn’t even finished saying Pentious’ name when his response started coming in the form of a snort of disbelief. “That’s really your idea of interesting? C’mon.” “Yeah?” Was Charlie’s instant reply. “Duh, obvi.” Cherri also said. “I’m indeed very interested, yeah.” Angel assured too, as if there was any need for it-- though it was his comment that prompted Husk into not beating around the bush anyway. For nothing in particular (lies). “Tsk, there’s no way you’re not anticipating my answer already. But sure.” He said, more amused than annoyed even if he tried to  make it seem the opposite. Keyword ‘tried’, since that stupid cat form of his was prone as hell (pun intended) to betray him. “Don’t particularly want Alastor dead, despite everything, but I ain’t picking him for any of the other options. So, kill Alastor. Hypotetically and shit.” “And then?” Out of everyone, Pentious was the one he expected to ask the least; he had to be really damn curious. “For fuck’s sake, what else do you think I’m gonna say? Kiss Pentious, marry Angel, obviously.” There was no way each one of them had seen it coming, and yet… all reactions seemed to say otherwise. Specifically: Pentious blinked in surprise, Charlie let out a delighted shriek, Cherri grinned from ear to ear then started clapping for some goddamn reason-- and of course the other two followed; Charlie was enjoying that as much as Cherri was, while Pentious was so smitten with Cherrie he needed zero convincing. And Angel? Angel almost choked on his drink, even if he managed to regain his composure shortly after. Also, was it the light or was his face pinker than natural? In the second case, he was pretty sure they were on the way to match, then. “What if it was ‘fuck’ instead of ‘kiss’, Whiskers?” He said, pretty casually, as if nothing had happened. “Same answer.” Husk answered in a heartbeat. Only a miracle saved him from stuttering, and more so after Angel leaned in over the counter like he was about to whisper a secret (likely using the clapping as an excuse, even if Husk would be able to hear it anyway) and struck him with a: “Will you lemme be the one poppin’ up the question, baby?” Laughter instantly escaped from his throat, very close to a giggle. “You want it? Then yeah.”
