Tried out some weathering pencils on the Zaku gun and Heathawk!
I might have gone a bit overboard and also just not done it right 😆 But its a learning experience! I deffo need to top coat with matt instead of semi gloss next time. Its been difficult to get the pencil to stick.

The heathawk is still the coolest weapon in gundam but the beam halberd is a close second.

it's also impressive how often I've seen them take a heathawk or blast tot he head, and the whole GM explodes. Or how easily the actual cockpit gets swiss cheesed by hero units.

Took some more pics of my #PoliceZaku yesterday!
I wanted to see how the Heat Hawk from the RFV Zaku fits because I don't really like the grey one that comes with the kit!
I think it fits really well!
Which pose do you prefer?

Gundam G Generation Eternal just came out and only has the heathawk as a move for the Gquuux right now.

Out of the way. Quuuuux coming through. Fun build and a fun design. The head is made of so many parts and you get to make it twice. Will panel line and do some paint apps layer. Can't wait for a FM or MG.

I submit the humble heathawk, the thing that made ship combat obsolete.

complete! this was an interesting kit. more detailed than the heindree, especially with decals, including decal wear/grime which idk how to feel about that. didnt have a decal for the heathawk blade which was a choice. overall wish this was the version with tank treads, but not mad to have it

Its very rare to see a Gundam use a heathawk/axe as its main melee weapon.
Hell, the few times Gundams have used axes are from IBO either used as a temp weapon or the Gusion rebake's long axe halbred.

man but it really does feel like they used an unconventional-style gundam (a heathawk even!) and a quirky-ass title so as to trick people into not realizing they're watching a Gundam show (also preparing for the "Anno deconstructing Gundam and making it good" articles)

A Gundam using a heathawk as one of it's signature weapons is definitely a change, but given how Barbie's most known for the mace this isn't the most left-field thing.

With so many new and familiar followers, I think I should reintroduce myself.
Hi I’m HeatHawk a rope fossil from the DMV. Known for my flexibility preforming and some light education/demoing. I’m not as active as I used to be but I love seeing all the new folks out there and staying up to date!
