I just learned about hedenbergite at the 2023 Tucson mineral show and it’s one my new favorites.

There has been hedenbergite-included quartz coming out of Inner Mongolia (HuangGangLiang), my favorite type has a gradient of inclusions making the tip semi-translucent with muted green color.

Hedenbergite: Named in 1819 by Jöns Jakob Berzelius after Anders Ludvig Hedenberg a Swedish chemist who first discovered the mineral at Mormorgruvan, Tunaberg. Hedenberg collaborated with Berzelius on early nitrogen-sulfur compound experiments.
