Having worked in advertising in the 2010s, it's wild how we've gone from authenticity being the watchword for everything to companies spending 100s of 1000s of dollars to churn out AI slop, where you can't get a shot of 2 people sitting a table that doesn't provoke uncanny valley heebyjeebies.

I've seen the AI Generated "Game" footage going around, and just like the AI Minecraft I saw about a year ago, I find it somehow viscerally upsetting to watch.
Like, it feels like disassociating in real time. Reality melting away.

If I envy anything of neurotypical folk, it's the ability to pick up any old pen and write with it regardless of its coefficient of drag. Just merrily scrawling away with a slippy pen or a clingy pen without getting the shuddering heebyjeebies.
