Wow! Here is the NOAA SWPC model for the two CMEs currently heading for Earth. This model has the two CMEs interacting and mounting for a 1-2 punch right near Earth with a combined impact time of around Nov 11, 22 UT +/- 7 hr.

It takes a pretty strong storm to get Aurora visible In this part of Indiana. Extreme light pollution also plays a role. But add all the wildfire smoke and it’s even harder! Got kinda unlucky with this storm. #aurora #wxsky #heliophysics #wildfire #smoke #spaceweather

Red spheres like red aurora but these are caused by spacex releasing h2o and co2 deorbit burn. Those molecules react with oxygen ions (O+) in the upper atmosphere produce photons at a wavelength of 6300 Å–the same color as red auroras. #space #spaceweather #heliophysics

This is why i want to get an H-alpha camera and go check out the mauna loa observatory area! I have spent time in hilo on big island and im going back to Kailua-Kona side next year! It would be perfect observation spot! #heliophysics #spaceweather #sun #aurora
