a blue-skinned cyborg with two five-fingered metal arms, modeled after super earth prosthetics, and a steel helldiver helmet, fused to his face. He is covered in what may be oil or coal dust. he is wearing a grimy t-shirt that may have been white at some point, and a blue jumpsuit, the upper half of which is tied around his waist. He is looking off into the distance, seemingly somberly.

Record Books: Mission Completed

A message from one diver to another in the ALT and a deep, Thank You For Diving.

#365Comics #SoDoYouComeHereOftenComic #art #Helldivers2 #HelldiversFanart #HelldiversOC #TimmyJohnHelldiver #dailycomics #comics
A four panel hand drawn Helldivers comic. 1. A close up view of a stick-on label. Although partially obscured by our perspective, it reads, "Cleared for use in civilian sectors by the Ministry of Science". Super Earth has approved the non-standard pod for civilian use... and it just so happens to house a very delighted pet. 2. An open hatch on the top of the pod makes way for a bevy of fish food snacks to fall into the awaiting water below. Timmy John Helldiver Junior is delighted to see the appearance of the food and swims over. The hand feeding the snacks in dusts itself off and closes the pod's lid. 3. Stepping back with a beaming demeanor we see them at last. Timmy John Helldiver. The hard fought mission is over and pet and owner are safe at last. While not unscathed, as the bandage on Timmy's left arm attests, they couldn't be happier. Life can return to a sense of ease and Timmy's demeanor and look reflects that. (It's why they're in their more cartoon like style.) 4. Even in our darkest times, there can be hope. We may not always return from strife with those we wish we could've, but we persevere onwards in their memory. When we're lucky enough to return with our loved ones, we take them up in our arms and celebrate our continued existence. Never give up Helldivers. The world is worth fighting for. YOU are worth fighting for. Thank you for diving. o7

#365Comics #SoDoYouComeHereOftenComic #art #Helldivers2 #HelldiversOC #Helldiversfanart #dailycomics #comics
A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. It's been an incredibly long road to see this mission through. One of the final steps is taken as Timmy John Helldiver sets foot onto the extraction platform. They gaze out across the platform. 2. It's clear and free of hostiles. Only the stars are there to accompany the sight of the extraction beacon. It casts its heavenly blue glow skywards and awaits interaction to communicate Timmy's readiness to extract. 3. The glow from the emitter at the top of the beacon stack amplifies and shines a brighter blue. Extraction is called. Seconds tick down and the end of the mission draws closer and closer. This is it. 4. Countdown strikes zero. As the assembly sinks into its Hellpod, the sound of approaching jet engines can be heard. From their insertion trajectory high above comes Pelican-1. Circling the platform and readying engines for touchdown, they radio out to Timmy. "Pelican-1. Ready for VTO. ... Good to see you, Helldiver." Cape flapping in the jet engine stirred wind, Timmy holds Junior's pod. The two look on. The journey ends here. Time to go home.

A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. A view of white... Over it fades in the congratulations from an onboard SES Destroyer mission evaluator. Affirmed by the Democracy Officer, Mission is Completed. 2. Timmy John Helldiver stands holding Junior in their pod. The two stare off to the right at what is behind the viewer's viewpoint. Behind them are the mountains and hills of Choepessa IV. Above them burns down a hellpod from orbit. Inside is the beacon crucial to the last leg of this mission. 3. Looming over what once was an Automaton facility campus are the flames, dust, and smoke from the NUX-223 Hellbomb's successful annihilation of the fuel towers. The light the Democratic destruction gives off is bathing Timmy and Junior in shadow. The moment taken in, Timmy swings Junior around to the pod's place on Timmy's back. It's time to move. 4. Smoke billows high into the sky. Lingering flames left from the last vestiges of Automaton fuel march the inky plume higher. Timmy is but a silhouette in the distance as they march the long road home to extraction.

A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. The glow of the sun dies away more and more. 'CHNK CHNK CHNK' go the safety arms of the NUX-223 Hellbomb. The reaction is now in motion and the 'VNNVNNVNNVNN' of impending annihilation spins up. 2. A mess of footprints in front of the Hellbomb spin around and trail off to where Timmy John Helldiver is clearing the area. 3. The droning of the bomb builds to a hilt and then it all goes quiet. A glow erupts and bathes the world around it. 4. White.

#365Comics #SoDoYouComeHereOftenComic #art #helldivers2 #helldiversOC #helldiversfanart #dailycomics #comics
A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. A stratagem beacon unfolds in a glorious set of metal petals. Erupting into the sky is the light code it casts up to the Super Destroyer high above the immediate action. That beam is what will make the mission possible and it cuts against the setting sun. 2. Thundering through the atmosphere comes down a Hellpod. Fired just moments before from the underbelly of the Destroyer looming above, the pod deploys its fins and fires its retro thrusters to ensure a stable landing. 3. Tunneled into the earth, the pod lifts its payload up for immediate Helldiver access. The contents? A NUX-223 Hellbomb. One of Freedom's greatest inventions and now with the task of destroying Automaton Fuel Silos. 4. Having watched from afar, Timmy John Helldiver steps up to the pod and briefly inspects it for damage. Satisfied it's in working condition, they bend over the pad attached to the bomb and begin to thumb the code in. In mere moments the action lock arms will release and the Automatons will enjoy a devastating setback.

#365Comics #SoDoYouComeHereOftenComic #art #helldivers2 #helldiversfanart #helldiversoc #dailycomics #comics
A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. Carcass. Scrap. However you look at it, any remaining instructions running on the Scorcher fade into nothing. The smoldering abyss where its eye once was, simply pops and fizzles. Smoke dances to the sky. 2. Timmy John Helldiver doesn't move for a moment. The adrenaline needs to wear off and the situation compartmentalized for later trauma. But the moment doesn't last long. Snow flakes off Timmy's armor as the Helldiver gets up in a crouch. They examine the Scorcher from afar and confirm its inertness. Junior, still in their holding device, glurps out a few 'Blub!'s in acknowledgment of Timmy's success against the fiend. 3. Up to their feet, Timmy turns away from the wreckage of the fabricator, the foot soldiers, and the mechanical hulk that threatened the mission. Crunching through the snow, the setting sun casts a glare around the objectives. Two large silos housing undemocratic fuel. 4. As Timmy's footsteps path over to the silos, Timmy brings up their left arm for their right to tap in a code. The path is clear. Only a few things left to do.

#365Comics #SoDoYouComeHereOftenComic #art #helldivers2 #helldiversfanart #helldiversoc #dailycomics #comics
A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. As the smoke clears from Eagle-1's support, Timmy John Helldiver slides to a stop behind the Scorcher. The only opportunity Timmy might get, they swing their AR-23 up into hip firing position and squeeze of a 'BRRRT' into the Hulk's cooling vents. Pops and hisses reach Timmy's ears as the cooling structures are damaged. 2. Yet, it's not enough. Before Timmy can completely destroy the cooling vents, the Scorcher wheels on its mechanical struts and begins to charge. The nozzle at the front of the beast's launcher begins to spill a small trail of fire with a 'FSSSH' as the weapon warms up to spray a deadly burst. 3. With no immediate options left, Timmy lets their Liberator fall and pushes themself off the ground and backwards from their last standing position. From their right thigh comes their Senator, lining up to take one lucky shot. Sights trained and the milliseconds running out, Timmy squeezes the trigger. 'CHK!' 4. 'KSHCRACK' The 12mm bullet leaves the barrel and meets the glass eye shield protecting the Scorcher's optics. Piercing through, nothing gets in the way of Timmy's shot. Through metal, CPU, and out through cooling vents... Time almost stands still. Timmy and Junior hang in the air. A small burst of fire from the Hulk's nozzle peters out. The shot is good. A charging beast is stilled.

A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. Code inputted, the stratagem ball Timmy John Helldiver dived with is now thrown. It sails from behind Timmy's point of cover and out in front of the destroyed fabricator. Support is inbound from Eagle-1 with a payload of smoke cover. 2. Jets burning hot, our support in the sky dives in and releases the smoke pods. On the ground, the entire complex is visible and in particular, two silhouettes. Timmy is the smaller of the two, and they're rapidly moving from their dive position to a better position. Their legs are carrying them around the fab ruins. The scorcher finally gets their momentum in check and scans around them. Unbeknownst to it, they're in for a blinding. 3. 'CRUNCH CRUNCH' screams the snow under Timmy's boots. Half way to where they want to be, Timmy is running around the fabricator when they hear the 'SHOOOM' signalling Eagle-1's tail end of her run. An instant later, the smoke pods deploy their cover with a cascading cacophony: 'CHNK CHNK CHNK'. 4. Coming to a stop behind the Scorcher, Timmy looks up at the heatsink coils on the back of the mechanical monstrosity. This is Timmy's best chance to bring this thing down.

This chapter was a doozy but a fun doozy to draw.

#365Comics #SoDoYouComeHereOftenComic #art #helldivers2 #helldiversfanart #helldiversoc #dailycomics #comics
A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. Smoke from the ruins around the complex drifts into the air and dissipates. Timmy John Helldiver stands in the middle of a fading smoke billow. They lower their right arm that they'd just used to shield their helmet and look to find what caused their Gatling Sentry to erupt in shrapnel. 2. Large, imposing, and with target acquired, an Automaton Hulk Scorcher makes themselves known. "KSHGUUNN" growls the monstrosity. It sees Timmy and its priorities are locked in for extermination. The pilot light on the flame belcher attached to its right shoulder clicks on with a 'TSHOOW'. 3. In a split second, Timmy swings the MG-43 around from behind them with the help of their shoulder strap. Left hand under the barrel to support the weapon, Timmy squeezes off rounds. Bullet ricochets ring in Timmy's ears as each bullet of the volley 'TING's off the Hulk's armor. A calculated maneuver and with it, the Scorcher gets in range. The Belcher clicks into operation and a low 'FWOO' builds. 4. With nary a second to spare, Timmy launches themself away from where they just stood in a dive to their right. The Scorcher barrels forward with their momentum and engulfs itself and Timmy's last location in a 'FOOOOSH' of hot clouds of flame. As the dive carries them right, Timmy clutches a stratagem ball and taps in a sequence. It's going to be close, but this plan has to work.

A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. The cacophony of explosion and stratagem landing blur together. The frag Timmy John Helldiver had thrown just moments earlier secured a swift disassembly for the fabricator. The bots inside were put to an end and soon, the others would be as well. 2. Raising up from its pod, the A/G-16 Gatling Sentry starts hurling up bullets. All blasting down range at the bots that the fabricator had just spit out. The triple barrels spin in circles and each deliver a load in sequence. A stream of casing eject out the back and down behind the sentry. 3. 'KADOOSH' and the Sentry is ripped to shreds. Parts fly at Timmy and an arm raises up on instinct to defend their head and helmet. The mangled barrel assembly falls to the ground as the ammo crate that once supplied it tumbles by. As unspent rounds spill out of the broken feed mechanism, the last vestige of working mechanisms pull themselves down into the pod and belch out a brief plume of smoke. 4. As the cold Choepessa winds blow through, the smoke dissipates. Each horrifying detail comes into view bit after bit as the mechanical menace of an Automaton Hulk stands behind the sentry's destruction. Scanning through the debris, it utters a loud 'GNUUUUN' as challenge. Complications just arose.

A four panel hand drawn comic. 1. Timmy John Helldiver is now reunited with Junior and the mission now has renewed purpose. Rather than Revenge, this is now a message to not mess with the Helldivers. Climbing out to the edge of the lower level, Timmy peers out at the landscape unfolding in the Automaton complex. As the bots alerted, the fabricator in the objective starts kicking out more steel. The fuel silo looming behind everything is the objective proper. 2. Needing another distraction to take out the fabricator, Timmy inputs a code into a stratagem ball and its light flickers on a mighty blue. Lobbing it over past the waiting bots, Timmy sends a call for an A/G 16 Gatling Sentry. 3. Now, as the stratagem is being deployed, Timmy reaches around to his utility belt and grabs a G6 Frag. Clutching it tight and gazing at their unnatural position, Timmy can only hope that this frag nails its mark. Thumbing the pin from its place, it's time. 4. With a hurl, the grenade soars through the air and up towards the vents on the fabricator. In a stroke of Liberty Luck, its angled just perfectly for a bounce off the other vent and down into the first one. It bangs around into the inner workings with a boomy 'KNGLNK'. One problem down.
