ok that part IS evil if only because it's been a decade of being near exclusively stuck with it. I'm really torn on whether I like having all the weapons so easily but it is better than a full hellgrind for every single one of them

I used to be into it. GW2 used to have a whole *community* built around it. Then they reworked their dailies and now it's just a hellgrind.
At least in FFXIV the dailies are a currency grind, and you can get those currencies through a variety of activities. So you can progress w/o roulettes.

The gacha game has good art and music but it's also the most interminable hellgrind I have ever experienced and I wouldn't recommend that anyone ever play it
I am unfortunately a veteran of many gacha games and the endgame grind in granblue is by far the worst I have ever experienced

This is honestly terrifying. I say that having survived a COBOL modernization that took a huge team and an absolute hellgrind to get to mostly functional after several YEARS. And that was way, way lower stakes than this looming disaster.
