The best part of the Hemmingwrite is it looks like a shittier version of a really good electric typewriter. Small, if that hand is any indication, you gotta look at Hemingway's face, and this ad cracks me up because marketing was nervous about the whole Hemingway thing, so they tossed in The Hobbit.

The best part of the Hemmingwrite is it looks like a shittier version of a really good electric typewriter. A new one is cool too though. I have the Hemingwrite that is brushed aluminum. I don’t polish it as much as I should so it’s developing a cool patina.

That's funny... I do a similar thing using a Kindle Fire and portable keyboard. I'll go off to where there's no internet (or not hook up to it). But I had to go look--the Hemingwrite sounds intriguing, if only ...🤔

What's funny is they make a new push for it and it's just brought people out of the woodwork who bought one (or when they were calling it HemingWrite, gag) and every single person I've seen mention it says they spend more time fighting it than writing.

haha 😂 a very cool but half forgotten piece of technology called the Alphasmart Neo2. It’s basically a Hemingwrite without the hefty price tag. She may be fugly but she’s beautiful to me
