#hericeum
Hi Stevie, I'm the fungi specialist at Natural England. We have a project with Cardiff University on Hericeum erinaceus. It would be great to get some more information on this record. Would you be able to message me to continue the conversation?

Lions mane jackpot 🤩 Found this beauty on the hillside of a well used bike and hiking trail. It was nice to see it untouched and thriving 🤍

Some of my wild WNC genetic lines of Hericeum fruiting in the tent this morning.

Developing unique phenotypes to bring our customers a unique culinary experience is a joy of ours.

This is a lovely Hericeum fruited from wild genetics I’ve been working for a while now. Very happy with this cultigen.

Yeah, Hericeum coralloides (as you said, Bear's Tooth Head) is what I got with Google Lens. Not a fan of using apps to identify. Audubon says its season is August-November, which make this sighting weird. Edible but must be cooked slowly.
