Three hours locked in a room at work with nothing to do = writing! The next chapter of my #heronchild fanfic, (Don't) tell me goodbye, will come soon!

They ran until they got to the nearest and safest place they knew: their club room.

It wasn't until they got to the street that James realised where Tom was taking them, and it wasn't until he froze at the open door that it really hit him.

The room was just as the last time he had seen it, as if nothing had changed. Kit's laboratory in a corner, their bookshelves in another, the book he had taken out to read last still sprawled over the table.

For a moment, the image of Matthew lifting his head up from his seat on the couch and greeting them, admonishing them for being late with that bright smile of his, was so strong James almost felt like the last few months had been a particularly long and bad dream.

We reached the point of My Obsession Of The Last Ten Years on my fic backlog. You decide to write ONE self-indulgent fic and then it's all over.

Everyone meet the fic that started it all:

The background is a close up of a pile of loose pages in old paper covered in inky handwriting and sitting atop a wooden table. In the centre of it there is a graphic with the lines of a white diamond with curved edges and in the middle of the diamond the words "New Story Up!" are written in a write flowery font mimicking human handwriting.

Entry 3 for the #keepfandomweird event! For all my fellow #monsterfucking and toxic relationships lovers!

This is neither safe, nor sane, but it IS consensual so I suppose Bsky mods will let it stay. #bskycencorship

My Keep fandom Weird event bing card, showing that the entries "incompetence porn", "wingfic" and now "monster fucking" are crossed out.

everyone should try and ship a rarepair at least once in their life. it is very fulfilling work. no fretting about numbers. just pure being unhinged about your favourite characters kissing. you appreciate every kudo and comment because the max capacity of interactions you'll ever hit is 10

First entry for the #keepfandomweird event on Tumblr done! The prompt was "incompetence porn", which I used to poke fun at Matthew's terrible artistic skills.

Take a look!
