SFW version of the cover page for my Hazbin Hotel comic, Tethered. Bloodless & saliva-less 🩵❤️ #hhcomictethered #hazbinhotel #voxal #radiostatic #alastor #vox
Cover page to my Hazbin Hotel comic, Tethered, featuring Alastor & Vox. Posed in a salsa dance position, Al rests his left arm on Vox's shoulder with one finger being bitten (no blood). Al looks at the audience while licking Vox's face (no saliva). Vox supports Al, with one hand behind his back and the other under his leg. They both have a golden cord (tether) around their necks, which wraps around them both and forms the comic's title at the bottom. Blue & red lighting behind them.

...with other stress. To make sure I give it the love it deserves, this is what must be done. That said, I'll post art in between, from sketches to finished pieces, to help stay motivated. Thanks for stickin' with me thus far💚🌿💚 #hhcomictethered

Another panel from my comic, "Tethered." I'm super in love with Vel's expression and Val's legs~ Those thighs are doing anything but saving lives hah! #velvette #valentino #vees #hazbinhotel #hhcomictethered
Lineart of Velvette with a smarmy expression. She is totally right about something. Val lies on Vox's bed with a puzzled expression.

𝘛𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥, Ch.1, p12 || ok so 2 updates/mo has been too difficult. i'll have to make it 1/mo so i dont burnout 😅 thank you so much for reading and having patience with me🙇💚 btw, two new characters appear in the next few pages🌿🪱✨ #hazbinhotel #hhcomictethered #radiostatic #vees
Tethered, chapter 1, page 12. The Vees stand around criticizing the shabby lobby area. Vox is past done with this evening. Panel 1: Valentino holds Vox's head to his side and holds his lit cigarette with another hand. He scoffs at a pair of black and white striped horns mounted within the foliage. "Imp horns? Tch, tacky." Panel 2: A close-up of Velvette's phone shows a mostly blank screen with a sad face and the message: Failed to load page. Try again later. Velvette complains, "I was going to give this shithole zero stars, but I've got no signal! Once I get some bars, it's getting a negative 5 out of 5." Panel 3: Vox speaks up sarcastically, "I'm so glad you fuckers dragged me to the bum-fuck-middle-of-nowhere in the middle of the fucking night for nothing. I could be watching 'Hold Me Gingerly' right now..." Both Val and Velvette brush off his statements entirely. Val takes a drag and exhales a long stream of pink smoke. Panel 4: Velvette, "Hey, Val? Go easy on the smoke. Space is cramped." Val, "I'm not even smoking that much!" Velvette refers to the increasing amount of (white) smoke that has been steadily filling the room. No one seems to notice ivy and other leafage on the back wall is parting, like a curtain, letting in all of the extra smoke as well as a bright light.

𝘛𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥, Ch.1: Room For One (p3-4) || Y'all I'm ECSTATIC by the reception of Tethered's debut! Thank you all so much for the likes, shares, and saves, WOW! Hope you enjoy these next couple pages💚P.S. Page 4 is my fav so far. #hazbinhotel #hhcomictethered #radiostatic #vees #valentino #velvette
Tethered, chapter 1, page 3. Vox continues to watch his movie, which is now at a dramatic part complete with sad music. Suddenly, Val plops himself on the tablet and flirts with an emotional Vox. Velvette gives her two cents about his drama-binge. Panel 1: (sad music plays over the movie) Panel 2: Val, "Voxxie-papi!" Panel 3: Vox, "Aw, Val! It was getting to the climax!" Val, "Mmm~? I know another climax we could get to~" Vox whines, "Vaaaaal..." Panel 4: Velvette, "I'm all for trashy movies, but they have got to fucking stop." Tethered, chapter 1, page 4. In which Velvette attempts to snap Vox out of his depression. What a good friend. Panel 1: Velvette, "This l'il depressive era of yours has gotten old. You need to focus on something more positive. Like your public image. As in, making it positive." Panel 2: Vox, "Pft, no one cares about me anymore. Why bother?" Panel 3: Velvette, "Why? 'Coz, babe..." Panel 4: Velvette, "You're a goddamn overlord! Stop acting like a bloody l'il piss baby!" Val gives a tiny "Hey!" for Velvette flipping Vox over away from him.

𝘛𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥, Ch.1 (p11) || what a freaking MONTH it has been. doin' my best y'all🥲i think i'll have to stick with monthly updates of two pages because of what i wanna offer via✨𝓅𝒶𝓉𝓇ℯℴ𝓃✨ (more info soon!) thank you for your patience and for still reading💚 #hazbinhotel #hhcomictethered #radiostatic #vees
Tethered, chapter 1, page 11. The Vees enter the shabby cottage. Inside somehow meets their expectations and yet surprises them. Panel 1: Velvette opens the door, Valentino behind her, holding Vox. Velvette elbows Vox's face, "Hey, Val? Should we ask about daycare, too?" Val grins with his cigarette holder gripped in his fangs. Panel 2: All three wear a shocked expression upon seeing the interior dimly lit by natural light through the only window. Panel 3: Inside looks like outside: dirt floor with sparse grassy spots, the walls are purely ivy and decorated only by mounted imp horns, the ceiling matches the rooftop's colorful array of leaves and odd glowing orbs (the sky's red glow peeks through), from the ceiling hang a few mobiles made of bones, and lastly, a bench of bone and wood. It doesn't look stable or inviting to sit on. Velvette, "How is the inside even worse?!" Val, "I can't believe we're here." Vox, "Obviously no one is here. How about we go home?" Both Val and Velvette scream, "NO."

𝘛𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥, Ch.1: Room For One (p.1-2) || Currently, I'm thinking of updating every other week. This way, it gives me time to get a buffer and to work on other HH artwork, which I'll share between updates. Enjoy💚 #hazbinhotel #hhcomictethered #radiostatic #vees #valentino #velvette
Tethered, chapter 1, page 1. Opens with two gingerbread people having an emotional discussion. Vox cries out with tears streaming down his face. Panel 1: Gingerbread man (named Gimn), "But Gingerfer! It was only a kiss! It meant nothing!" Gingerbread woman (named Gingerfer), "That's what they all say." Panel 2: Gimn, "I was on the nog. It was a mistake!" Panel 3: Gingerfer, "That's no excuse. How could you, Gimn?" Panel 4: Vox, "Yeah, Gimn! How could you?!" Tethered, chapter 1, page 2. The gingerbread people are part of a drama that Vox is watching on his VoxTek tablet (decorated with a sticker of Shok.wav on the front). He sits (?) in bed (as a head only), a blanket lightly draped over the side of his head, crying at the scene. Valentino and Velvette stand at the back by his desk. They're tired of this crap. Panel 1: Text box reads, "One month after Vox's failed plan." Panel 2: Valentino, "I'm going to kill every single one of those actors..." Velvette: This is the 7th time this week he's watched that fucking movie. This shit stops now."

𝘛𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥, Ch.1 (p5-6) || I totally didn't post this update incorrectly, what do you mEAAAan?? (damn this smooth brain of mine...). In other news, we're getting closer to a new character💚🌿🔥 #hazbinhotel #hhcomictethered #radiostatic #vees #valentino #velvette
Tethered, chapter 1, page 5. Valentino and Velvette threaten to cut Vox from the company if he doesn't get his shit together. Also, Vox makes funny faces. Just FYI, hah! Panel 1: Val, "That and if this 'phase' doesn't pass, you'll be cut from the company." Panel 2: Vox, "Woah wait! Ha-How can you have VoxTek without 'Vox'?" Panel 3: Vox, "You wouldn't cut me out just like that." Panel 4: Vox, "Right?" Panel 5: Val and Velvette stare. They're p serious. Tethered, chapter 1, page 6. In which an odd, talking plant by his bedside offers Vox a solution to his emotional issues. Panel 1: Vox, "Well, what do you expect me to do? Look at me." Panel 2: Plant A (off panel), "Are you stressed? A sobbing mess?" Panel 3: Plant A, "Can't be bothered when you're depressed?" Panel 4: Plant A, "No longer the boss? Feeling lost?" Plant B, "Got yourself stuck on the sauce?" Plant C, "Get your cryin' ass down to Cannibal Town where Pyre P. Glabra is glad t'meet ya!" Plant B, "Pyre P. Glabra. Herbalism, florals, afterlife counseling. No appointment necessary. Mind your manners." Panel 5: Vel, "See? Even this ugly-ass plant agrees with me." Vox, "Fuck you Velvette." Val, "When did you get this anyway?" Vox, "It was delivered a couple weeks ago." Val, "From who?" Vox, "Like the plant said. Some D-bag called Pyre."

𝘛𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥, Ch.1 (p7-8) || Hope Google's Spanish here makes sense. If there's a better way to say "You're a sad piece of shit," do let me know and I shall fix this page for a future repost💚 #hazbinhotel #hhcomictethered #radiostatic #vees #valentino #velvette #vox
Tethered, chapter 1, page 7. Val reads through the note that came with the plant and implies Vox may have a "secret admirer or side interest" of sorts. Vox denies both and screams at Val and Velvette for ignoring him. Panel 1: Val, "Are you seeing this Pyre?" Panel 2: Vox, "No, Val. I don't see anyone. I'm stuck here all day, every day." Val (off panel), "Sheesh, what's with the attitude?" Panels 3: Vox, "What attitude?!" Panel 4: One of the plants opens up and peeks through its gooey 'mouth' as Vox continues to scream, "I'm telling you I'm a hostage in my own home! Trapped in this fucking room with nothing to do and no one to talk to!" Panel 5: Vox, "This fucking plant has kept me company more than you two have in a whole month!" Tethered, chapter 1, page 8. The boys continue to argue. Velvette breaks up the fight, hoisting up a comically rabid Vox. She thinks seeing Pyre might do some good. Vox has his opinions, as usual. Panel 1: Val tosses away the note, "We wouldn't be gone all day running the company..." Panel 2: (Val continues) "If someone wasn't so determined to kill himself and everyone else with him last month!" Vox, "I know you assholes have time in your schedules for five fucking minutes!" Panel 3: Val, "Eres un pedazo de mierda triste!" Vox, "What was that?!" Panel 4: Velvette, "Chill out, both of you!" Panel 5: Velvette, "Vox, maybe this Glabra-twat can snap you out of this funk. You're not CEO anymore, but VoxTek stills needs you." Panel 6: Vox replies sarcastically, "How sweet. Well, believe it or not, I've tried counseling before. It didn't work. I'm. Not. Going. So there."

OK I've got a lot to get through and not a lot of character space *ahem* Welcome to the debut of my #hazbinhotel comic, 𝘛𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥💫 I'm so excited to share this story finally! Also, I updated the cover page cuz the original is fugly lol🥲I sincerely hope you enjoy💚 #hhcomictethered #radiostatic
Updated cover page for my Hazbin Hotel comic, Tethered. Alastor (in his signature red suit) and Vox (in his signature blue suit) dance the salsa with Vox leading. He tries to hypnotize while supporting his weight in the dance pose; his left hand on Al's thigh scratches through Al's pants, making him bleed a little. Alastor looks at the viewer with a wide, saliva-coated smile and his tongue out. His left arm rests on Vox's shoulder with his pinky holding Vox's smile. Vox has bitten him so a little blood streams down the side of Vox's face. Both have a glowing lilac tether around their necks, which wraps around their hands and Al's leg as if to "keep each other in check." The bottom is the title spelled with the tether. Disclaimer: Tethered. Chapter 1: Room For One. This story contains the following mature themes: strong language, blood, violence, nudity, suggestive & sexual content, and substance use. Some chapters will contain more sensitive topics. If you are not comfortable with or in a good head space for these themes/topics, please step away for now to care for yourself. Love, Stray (the OP).

Tethered, chapter 1, page 9. Annoyed by Vox's unwillingness to agree to counseling, Velvette puts him in the night stand drawer (aka "time-out"). With a little more "convincing" from Valentino, Vox reluctantly agrees. Panel 1: Vel, "That's it. Piss baby needs a time-out. Val?" Val (off panel) opens the drawer, "Sure." Vox, "Don't you dare! Not the drawer again!" Panel 2: Vox, "VEL-NGH!" Vox is dropped into the drawer. He lands with a 'thunk' and the bottom left corner of his face cracks. Panel 3: Val slams the drawer shut. A loud 'thud' can be heard from Vox falling over. Vox, "OW MY FACE!" Panel 4: Vox (off panel), "I am a grown-ass man! Stop treating me like a damn child! Open this drawer right now!" Meanwhile, Val reaches over for the glass of whiskey. Panel 5: Val, "Maybe I should demote you to a lobby screen..." Panel 6: "...Then you can be sad and bored while displaying our ads on repeat all day, every day." Panel 7: Vox, "...Ok, I'll go." Val, "Buen bebe." Vel, "Perf! We leave in 15 minutes." Vox, "We're going tonight?!" Panel 8: Val and Vel are exiting the bedroom. Val, "The sooner, the better! For everyone's sanity." Vox, "Don't leave me in here! Let me out! Guys?! Can I at least have my tablet?" Tethered, chapter 1, page 10. After a bit of a drive, the Vees finally reach Pyre's place deep in a forest on the outskirts of Cannibal Town. Panel 1: Right-hand corner is a box, "Outskirts of Cannibal Town." The Vees complain about their trip. Vel, "Fuckin' finally! This bumpy road has made it impossible to text." Val, "At least you didn't spill on yourself. Twice." Vox, "You spilled on me, too." "Eh," replies an apathetic Val. Panel 2: Pyre's cottage is a lone stone building coated in moss and surrounded by tall brush. Behind the cottage is a modest garden with a variety of colorful plants. Atop the cottage's thatch roof is more foliage, dotted with colorful leaves and glowing orbs. It's unclear what the orbs really are. Next to the front door is a tall, pink plant with long blue leaves trailing over its planter. The doormat reads 'Beware of Worm.' The singular window on the front of the building is tinted green and has a few large cracks across it. 'Pyre's' is painted in an arching, scripted font. Below it is an elblem featuring a beetle. Below that in calligraphy reads 'Pyre P. Glabra, Florals, Herbalism, Afterlife Counseling.' Panel 3: Val sits with his legs crossed, Vox in his lap. One hand gently holds a lit cigarette, another holds a mostly empty glass of liquor. Vel sits on an adjacent seat wearing an expression of disgust. Vel, "Ew, Val! Do you see this dump?!" Val taps Vox's head, "You better make this worthwhile." Vox doesn't appreciate the tapping, comment, or the liquor dripping down his face.

Cover page to my Hazbin Hotel comic, Tethered, featuring Alastor & Vox. Posed in a salsa dance position, Al rests his left arm on Vox's shoulder with one finger being bitten (lil bit of blood drips). Al looks at the audience while licking Vox's face. Vox supports Al, with one hand behind his back and the other under his leg (scratch + lil bit of blood). They both have a golden cord (tether) around their necks, which wraps around them both and forms the comic's title at the bottom. Blue & red lighting behind them. Closeup of Al & Vox. Al licks Vox's face while looking at the audience. His monocle is heart-shaped and cracked. Vox bites Al's pinky finger while staring at Al with his hypnotic eye with a heart-shaped spark as the pupil. Close-up of Vox creating a small rip in Al's pants (outer thigh). Bit of blood drips down. Also a view of Al's tether wrapped around Vox's hand.

Tethered, chapter 1, page 13. The Vees are fully and properly welcomed into Pyre's office. Panel 1: The Vees walk through the parted curtains of vines into a cenote that is lightly decorated with rustic, wooden furniture. At the opposite end of the room stands a tall figure in a green pinstriped suit. They're backlit by a glow emitting from a wide pool of water. The figure, clearly a sinner, smiles with a greeting. "Merry meet, dear Vees, and welcome to my grotto. I am Pyre P. Glabra." Panel 2: The glow of the pool lightly coats their charcoal-like skin and long leafy hair. A pleasant scent of lavender wafts through the air from the tips of their twisted roots for horns. "How can I help you this eve?" they ask. Their eyes glow bright orange like a furnace.
