Finished my Westknit’s Icelandscape shawl in the Blue Lagoon colorway. End to end it’s ~ 7’ long. This one is this year’s winter Hiberknitting.

dans un dégradé de bleus, gris et beige clair (sur la 10aine de rangs visibles sur la 1ere photo, on a déjà entamé 3 écheveaux différents) 😼
On 🤞🏼🤞🏼 pour le terminer dans les temps 😺
Montage i-cord et 9 premiers rangs dans 3 tons de gris. L’encours, monté sur des aiguilles circulaires, est posé sur la pochette des aiguilles qui est couleur plume de paon. On rentre les fils au fur et à mesure donc seul le fil de tricot est visible. Coloris du kit « lagoon », 8 écheveaux dégradés de gris, bleus foncés et un beige très clair.

My version of Westknits 2024 Hiberknitting Glowhair Frost Shawl!

The Hiberknitting started Christmas and is running throughout January, ending just before Valentine’s Day. Therefore my color combination is called “Cozy Valentine”. It is a mix of my hand-dyed 4-ply merino and fluffy alpaca.

I decided to use seven colorways for WestKnits Hiberknitting pattern, Glowhair Frost Shawl. The pattern calls for 3 fingering weight yarns and 3 mohair, which I’m skipping. Yarn is by Murky Depths. #knitting #yarn
