He splashed water into his face. “Stop it,” he said out loud. “Stop it.”
The benefits of lying in running water to wash away magic were debatable. But cold water was good for suppressing other urges that might arise when one thought too hard about the friction of rope on a delicate wrist, or the soft, half-panicked whimper of a person both aroused and afraid.
God damn it, he needed to get laid.
