The walk down to Wild Pear Beach is quite steep in places, but it's usually deserted. Which means I can strip off at the top of the hill, and enjoy the walk down in just my boots.

A landslide last year wiped out a whole section of a mountainside trail. The resulting lack of trail traffic could suit my preference to #hikenaked, except a summer without hikers also allowed the encroachment of wild roses and eight-foot tall Devil's Club. Clothes served as protection.

A hiking kilt is my chosen attire as I start each summertime hike. The velcro closure makes for easy strip-and-stow to #hikenaked after my encounters seem to match my trailhead car counting. Equally quick is the cover-up when I hear an approach. #naturist #nonerotic #kilt
