A collage of photos of a painted miniature, Prince Apophas, a tomb kings prince miniature from Games Workshop. The miniature is a skeletal figure rising out of a body of scarabs, it has ornate bejewelled armour of blue and red. It is holding a dagger over head and is reaching out with a hand made of scarabs. This is of the same miniature but from another angle. This shows more angles of the headdress and skull head. Final image of the same miniature. This set shows pieces of detail across the miniature.

On we go! Always feel like when a process from a test model is actually good - I end up cracking out some minis. Four additional Squires up to base coats and wash stage this evening.

Five Bretonnian Squires. One complete but for basing and four a WIP. They have blue hoods on white tunics.

First bit of post priming work done on Prince Apophas. Scarabs coming up nicely, and the armour plates look like I’ve got my base to work from just right. Calling that a good start.

Miniature Figure. A Tomb Kings Prince, their body is made of Scarabs rising up and learning over, a dagger is held high and arched, a skull face is shouting, and the scarabs are forming a reaching hand. Miniature Figure. Rear of the Prince, this shows more of the armour.

It wouldn’t be #fedipaint for me without me hacking some corks to pieces, now would it?

A miniature on a chopping board surrounded in corks. The miniature is basecoated red.

Just following up on a threat of some penance I made for indulging in a whinge about some rubbish you see on #Hobby #youtube.

Here’s a thread of some folks whose work I utterly love.
