i’d already told her one thing.
glasses. my prescription has changed. it’ll be a LOT cheaper to do there.
and want to go to HobbyOff. searching for 7/11 gundams.
but i’m sort of at a loss after that.

息子のHARDOFF巡りに付き合い、併設のHOBBYOFFでちい活。
掘り出し物がめちゃめちゃあって、かつ、状態良かったり未開封品お安いッ！ のでいくつかお迎えした。
特に、主人がすでにクレーンゲームで1500円を溶かしていたスタンドライトが550円であったので、即決👍️
他にも、たぬきだもんくじのマスコットが550円で大量にあったり、C賞!?の特大うさぎが11000円であって、いろいろ目の保養になったなぁ😊

I spent a day Shopping in Tokyo’s Incredible Secondhand Goods Stores
For the last full day of The Parks for the Thirty-Fourth - Tokyo Drift, I decided to spend the day perusing a selection of Tokyo's famous secondhand goods stores like Book Off, Hard Off & Hobby Off, Nakano Broadway or the well known Super Potato store in Akihabara looking for all sorts of Japanese domestic treasures - from old games consoles like GameBoys and Famicoms to vintage electronics like classic and quirky cameras and even collectibles like model cars. I also stopped by a Pokémon Centre, had breakfast at the popular chain Cafe Gusto - featuring the quirky robot waiters, ate a sizzling lunch at the appropriately named Pepper Lunch and capped the trip off with one last Katsu Curry at my beloved CoCo Ichibanya.

I was in Japan early this year and was really disheartened to see how jacked up the prices in Akihabara had become. I found a wee little Sakura at a local HobbyOff for ¥550, but she's going for upwards of ¥5,000 in Akiba? Yikes. I know the case sellers are privately priced, but still unfortunate.

Akihabara was cool to walk around & enjoy the sites, but everything is really expensive. I say go for sites, but if you want to buy anything, go to Ikebukuro instead (bonus:stray cat park near the sunset mall!)

Find a HardOff or a HobbyOff in Tokyo and you can fill your suitcase with used or barely used models at a very reasonable cost. ☺️

というワケで、新年早々Hobbyoffにて「マキャベリ」を衝動買い。いやだって3300円は安かった。ちなみに同じ店にホビージャパン版VG「Cold War」もあったけどそちらはスルー。なんちゅう品揃えなんだよあの店。
