You should see the other guy.

A drawing of a man with wings combing his hair back with his hands. He's covered in blood and scrapes and bruises, and a cigarette is lighting his face slightly

I like adding in little shortcuts like this that connect different levels together.

This one opens up after you defeat a particular boss in the hollowridge mine

Some of the levels will have little mini story arcs!

In Hollowridge, you'll help a foreman retake his mine from an invading giant monster!

I'm really focused on my dragons atm but I can really feel the hollowridge worm slowly burrowing through my brain again, so I hope people still like what I do when I pivot back to """human ocs""" for a bit. I promise the story is good <3 especially if you're a fan of unhinged violence (like me)

I <3 winged character shirt logistics

[ #art #hollowridge ]
A man with wings explaining how shirts work for him. The shirt in question has a large hole on the back through which the arms of the wings go, and has clasps on the top and bottom to close the shirt around the wings. There is a similar hole in the back of the pants for a feathered tail to go through.

[//FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE]

[ #art #hollowridge ]
A drawing of a guy in a soft tan fireman jacket with bright yellow reflective bands. He has extremely spiky hair, sharp fangs and a snake tongue he's showing off with a shit eating grin. He has his hands raised up so his black palms and sharp claws. there's fire and smoke coming out from vents on the sides of his neck, and a long thorny tail swishes behind him. The background is heavily textured showing diagrams of firearms, as well as the text 'Adriel Hayes, weapons grade bastard' on the top and 'thornvine hydra' on the bottom. The very small and intentionally crunched text above the latter reads: "It's kind of ironic for this guy to wear a fireman jacket right since he's a fucking all-devouring flame which is also exactly why I drew this whole thing btw in case it wasn't obvious I love the irony so much". The artist of this drawing also loves him very much <3

ALL THE MONSTERS IN YOUR DREAMS WILL BE ME

[ #art #hollowridge ]
A heavily textured and heavily stylized drawing of Adri, with smoke violently erupting from his neck vents and his clawed hand held up towards the viewer, with several thorny snakes shapeshifting forth from his body. He looks pretty unhinged. There's text behind him, both typed and handwritten, that read "all the monsters in your dreams will be me will be me will be me will be me" both the written and typed texts say the same thing and are overlaid over each other. The drawing is predominantly dark teal and grey, with the background and details being searing lime green.

"You've made your home inside the jaws of Death, and now you cannot escape"
"Oh, but why would I ever want to leave?"

[ #art #hollowridge ]
An art piece featuring two drawn panels and in deep black, red, and orange tones, with a header and footer on top. The header says "what makes you feel safe?" while the footer says "something that you wouldn't understand" with increasingly frantic letters. The top panel shows a girl in the center, surrounded by a snake coiling around her and covered in thorns that increase in size and sharpness the further from the center (the girl) they are. The girl is also calmly resting on the head of the snake. There is text on the top left that reads "Death clings to you like smoke, choking out your soul. Do you not care at all? Do you really feel no remorse? Are you so intent on becoming a monster too?" The bottom panel shows the girl laying down in the jaws of the snake, perfectly calm in this one too. The snake's fangs are all pulled back so as not to hurt her. There's text on the bottom right that reads "I will die regardless, so who cares. I hope It kills you too. I hope It kills us both. And I hope it FUCKING HURTS". Author's note: PLEASE BE NORMAL ABOUT THESE TWO OR I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN FOR SPORT

You are in range. [ #art #comic #hollowridge ]
An anonymous ask from tumblr that reads "does Adriel purr when you give him scritches? asking for a friend". The comic panel below shows adriel in an exaggerated thinking pose saying "oh huh, do I purr? I don't know" A panel portraying Adriel again holding his claws out to the viewer beckoning them forward. He's saying "why don't we find out together? come closer." He is very clearly threatening, and the smoke coming from his neck is forming teeth around him. There are warnings popping up in the periphery of your vision that read "WARNING IF YOU CAN READ THIS YOU ARE IN RANGE YOU ARE IN RANGE YOU ARE IN RANGE YOU ARE IN RANGE YOU ARE IN RANGE"
