We hope this gives all Guardians ample time to hunt for Holofoils and Adepts as they prepare for The Edge of Fate's launch on July 15.

Winning is fun but the real reward is the cool loot.

Guardians, what holofoils have you obtained during these Guardian Games?

Alongside the above change, the second week of a given dungeon will also feature increased weapon drops, where rewards can drop from any enemy defeated during your dungeon playthrough. Holofoils are included in this as well!

Rite of the Nine Update: Last night, a change was applied to enable weapon loot drops from enemies defeated within the Spire of the Watcher Dungeon.

This includes chances for Holofoils in Explore mode, and chances for Adepts and Holofoil Adepts at higher difficulties.

Good hunting, Guardians.

I still wish holofoils were just a legendary ornament you unlock for the weapon and not a thing that’s baked in that weapon’s instance

Woke up to a surprise this morning. My friend Holofoils on discord did a drawing of me in my Furality Somna outfit! I'm in love with it, it is adorable. They're not on here, but I wanted to share it because i'm blown away! #furality #vr #vrchat #furry

field trip comic

PANEL 1: A school bus on Milwaukee in Wicker Park. NARRATOR: "Bird Slamzone, legally distinct cool boy, is on a field trip to the Big City! An entire school day ogling the once-bohemian Wicker Park neighborhood for art class!" PANEL 2: Bird and Malmouse are in seats in the bus, opening cards for a collectible card game. MALMOUSE: "Remember: I get first dibs on any rares or holofoils you open.." BIRD: "Yeah, yeah." PANEL 3: Close up on Bird's hands sorting through the cards in a new pack. NARRATOR: "Bird and MAlmouse had found a hobby shop and went halvsies on a box of booster packs. Bird had no spending money, so his half was an I.O.U...." PANEL 4: Malmouse looking over Bird's shoulder, pricing the cards as he draws them. MALMOUSE: "Dollar seventy five, two fifty -- even your good cards suck shit, Bird!" BIRD: "Thank you, I'm noticing!" PANEL 5: NARRATOR: "It was a mistake: Bird didn't even LIKE this game, but he'd been swept up in the mania of plenty. Now there were only a couple packs still unopened. MALMOUSE: "If you get good enough cards, the box pays for itself!" BIRD: "Maybe the next pack?"

Holofoils disabled for Xbox crashes.
Due to an issue where inspecting the Holofoil versions of the Folded Root and Romantic Death weapons are causing crashes on Xbox, we have temporarily disabled the Holofoil versions of those weapons. We are actively pursuing temporarily changing the visuals of these weapons as soon as possible so that players can equip them without crashing. In addition, we will be reverting these changes back to their expected look as soon as we have identified and resolved the root cause.
