The goal was to make larger and more realistic versons of #squareenix magnet stones that came with the deluxe version of #Ivalicechronicles.

Hand sculpted and made into master molds.

The game was set in a "before the world became what it is today" setting, and among other things the codex-style book wasn't really in use. When talking about life on a ship, the game author devoted excessive wordcount to explaining how the rocks could still be called holystones in this setting. 3/

In real world history, sailors would scrub wooden ships with flat stones the rough size and shape of a book. Specifically, since it was the main book sailors would be familiar with, the Bible. So the Bible-shaped stones were referred to as holystones. The problem came in during work on a TTRPG. 2/
