the first trans person i met was a member of my 12-step homegroup. he was awesome and had great sobriety. i misgendered him while complimenting him to a mutual (cis) friend. the mutual friend just said "He" when i used the wrong pronoun instead. it was confusing! but I didn't feel attacked (cont)

Super excited to be teaching at the yoga recovery meeting that has been my homegroup since i got sober, at the yoga studio I took my teacher training at! Like, getting to do stuff like this is exactly why i did ytt in the first place
