Attention old neopets team!! Was the change to the more kangaroo like design for the zafara inspired by Hoppy the Hopparoo from the Flintstones? there's a lot of similarities like the back spikes and little details like the black spots(just moved from the leg to the ear).

Very little and no video reference for them... but there's the policeman who asks Hopparoo in a very strong Quebec accent "T'essayes-tu de m'dire ket'chose toé là?" that always cracks me up. :-D
