#housing-bill
I don’t say this often these days, but Congress actually passed something good.

My bipartisan housing bill to build more housing, lower costs, and stop private equity's housing grab is becoming law.

The bipartisan housing bill has now been officially enacted into law.

Despite Trump’s temper tantrum and refusal to sign the legislation, he never actually vetoed the bill.

I just voted YES on the biggest housing bill in more than 30 years.

This bill will boost housing supply, bring down costs, and — for the first time ever — stop private equity from buying up single-family homes.

Bill Pulte, Trump's director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, moved this week to slash the inspector general's office that scrutinizes his actions — prompting calls from Dems for his resignation.

It's the second time Trump officials have moved to limit scrutiny of the agency run by Pulte.

When he says the bipartisan housing bill is “so unimportant” compared to the voter suppression bill he means it doesn’t help him personally while the other one saves his ass

Today, the Senate passed the ROAD to Housing Act, a bipartisan bill to expand the housing supply and make housing more affordable.

I was proud to vote for this bill championed by @warren.senate.gov.

The House must pass this vital reform without delay.

BREAKING: the clock struck midnight and our bipartisan housing bill is now law.

Trump refused to sign it, but he couldn't stop it.

This law is GROUNDBREAKING.

It will build more housing, bring down costs, and for the first time, stop private equity from buying up homes.

This is what Karoline Leavitt said about the Housing bill yesterday — the one that Trump refused to sign today.

Trump just said the bipartisan housing bill designed to address the affordable housing crisis is "so unimportant" compared to his legislation to rig elections, the SAVE America Act.

Trump called the housing bill "a yawn."

MAJOR NEWS: @GavinNewsom signed SB 79, my bill allowing more housing near public transit — rail, subway, rapid bus.

It’s a huge step for housing in California. It’ll create more homes, strengthen our transit systems & reduce traffic & carbon emissions.

Thank you, Governor!

When I heard Trump was gonna sign our housing bill, I ran down in excitement! But he was nowhere to be found…. Trump refuses to sign a bill that would make housing cheaper for you because he rather make voting harder for you!

81 years ago, FDR proposed a second Bill of Rights to guarantee every American the right to employment, healthcare, education, housing, and a living income. His words are as relevant now as they were then. Watch.

I've just signed a series of bills to help speed up home construction, cut unnecessary red tape, expand housing options, and connect homeless Californians with recovery-centered housing.

We're not taking our foot off the gas to create more affordable housing up and down the state.

Practically speaking, how do we bring down housing costs?

Last month, the Senate Banking Committee unanimously passed a bill that will use the power of the federal government to help communities across the country build more housing.
