Take a look (😜) at the hoverEffect modifier in SwiftUI.

Hopefully we'll see an update to this with more options to control things like rotation, transform, etc.

Anybody know a fix for this odd hoverEffect behavior within a DisclosureGroup? I want it to be a rectangle but the capsule just will not go away.

The Spatial SwiftUI series is coming along. I have a few most ideas with ornaments, mixing 2D and 3D in stacks, and scroll views. What else do you want to see in this series?

Try without the .hoverEffect attribute, just pass Rectangle().

Not that I could find. I even tried putting the hoverEffect on the entire DisclosureGroup and I got an outer rectangular hover, an inner rectangular hover, yet jn-between those the capsule was still there. I’ll look again today.

I have .contentShape(.hoverEffect, .rect) which is what creates the rectangle hovers, but I can’t figure out how to get rid of the capsules without adding .hoverEffectDisabled() on the whole disclosure group but that takes away the hover effect completely 🫠
