btw for people complaining about estinien's armor not changing: the DRG 70 artifact gear is actually pre-dragonsong war armor when dragoons worked with dragons and his specifically was gifted to him by hraesvelgr and he named it "iceheart" :)

For those whose WoL/OC is canonically a DRG, do they use the power of Nidhogg's eye, that of another Great Wyrm (Hraesvelgr, Tiamat, etc), or that of another dragon's entirely (like Vidofnir)?

This happens up in the Churning Mists too, setting you up perfectly to understand Ysayle's argument with Hraesvelgr. When he says, "Your primal is not the real Shiva," I immediately connected that to how the King Moggle Mog primal is not the real king of Moghome. Cool stuff!

rodha still has a part of nidhogg's powering their abilities, but they're mostly using hraesvelgr's. their aether was already kinda fucked up beforehand and when hraesvelgr lent them his eye a lot of it stayed within them because of how compatible it was re: the ice #❄️🌹
In regards to the armor, not only is his significant, but the wols lv 70 artifact armor is the same because there were two, made when man and dragon trusted each other. It's heavily implied that Hraesvelgr gives him both sets and that he gives a drg wol the other one. It's INCREDIBLY important.

While Misago is a DRG, he does not begin learning or training until after 6.0, so he doesn’t have the power of an eye. However, he does have mail made from Tiamat’s blessed scales and a lance blessed by Hraesvelgr, both gifts from Estinien and the dragons.
