In httyd1, they do! Which is the only portrayal of him I like.

His personality is more like in httyd1. Elegant, sarcastic, and sometimes playful. Not so dog-like, like how he's portrayed in httyd2 and especially 3.

got up for a sec, someone (either Mom or sister) had put on the new HTTYD movie
seeing just a few scenes it looks shot for shot and line by line like HTTYD1 and making me wanna watch HTTYD1 instead
feeling gladder I skipped it when it was in theaters

OK what are animated movies or shows that are in that one Goldilock zone, the Zone where it´s not too Stylized to be off putting but also not too realistic either,
if i can name such it´d be Gurren Lagann and How To Train your Dragon for some reason.

A closer look at the Hideous Zippleback I finished modeling yesterday night. Those spines were nearly the death of me. Probably why I'm procrastinating on the Monstrous Nightmare. But our friend here means 4/6 of the dragons featured in HTTYD1 are complete.

like!!! I know RTTE is there but if you JUST look at the movies it's such an odd jump from HTTYD1 where Hiccup is only JUST accepted by the tribe to HTTYD2 where Hiccup, even tho he's grown, doesn't really WANT to be the chief and is almost forced into it when Stoick dies?

I then decided to rewatch HTTYD1 now that I was more mature, and it instantly became my favourite animated film of all time.
That kind of unbreakable bond between human and “beast” was so profoundly moving to me. I don’t often cry during movies, but I did during HTTYD. Toothless is the best <3

Movie you've watched more than six times using gifs.
(Technically I meant to show HTTYD1 but man this special always gives me the warm fuzzies)
