Swimming and turning* is a very true description of what my brain would do if I did not have a Brown Noise machine right at my head. I keep a second French White noise machine, from my old days as a clinical therapist, plugged in by the bedroom door. h/t: humanbarometer

Just when one thing stops hurting, another starts. Apparently, when the temperature gets below 35° F my knees magically stop clicking, but my hip, which is the ratchet of the operation, starts feeling like I'd like to pop it out and beat someone over the head with it. #40s #humanbarometer #sucks
