HUNITH: (Merlin Complete Guide” book

Ealdor is full of surprises 😂
If Camelot can have tomatoes 🍅, then Hunith can have baking soda.

Hunith’s gyngerbrede recipe!
She wanted to make it for Arthur, Morgana and Gwen but
Kanan and his bandits stole all the grain. 💔

We both agreed his dad, my spouse, is Gwaine, which is ironic given he almost never drinks. But it is an obvious match nonetheless.
Which gives us a very very odd Mordred/Gwaine pairing. Or possibly, I could be Hunith, so Gwaine/Hunith, which is equally peculiar!

when hunith is eavesdropping on merlin and arthur and then tells him to come sit and tells him she loves him (she just realized he's gay as hell)

The idea behind this was:
An AU where Uther dies instead of Ygraine. Balinor remains a Lord in her court and still meets Hunith, and they have Merlin. Meanwhile, Ygraine raises Arthur alongside Nimueh. Arthur and Merlin are inseparable friends from childhood, prince and dragonlord's son.

I like to think too much about Arthur and Merlin meeting as young kinds. Hunith arriving in Camelot with kid Merlin, going to the castle so she can talk with Gaius (since they already knew each other),-

It would also be interesting to see him lose track of time after hunith death (because imortality and trauma does that to someone), so when he finally comes back to camelot every single person he knows is long gone

been thinking a lot about how merlin wouldn't have been born if it wasn't for uther's genocide spree. LIKE 1) balinor wouldn't have fled camelot to find shelter in ealdor and met hunith ; 2) merlin is basically a magic messiah and there would be no need for him if magic was legal and accepted, so.
