Bumping the #YuriOnIce fic that I affectionately call my "Hallmark Christmas Movie Fic" w/a premise inspired by sappy holiday stories. I wanted to write a fic set in a snowstorm w/Tgiving/Xmas vibes & while I struggled w/it for about a year, I really love how it turned out. #HuntressFirefall #YOI
Now that Halloween's done & we've had some snow here, I figure it's time to post my holiday/snowstorm #YOI fic. Set during the Thanksgiving to Christmas season.

Firefall, my Elf OC who was originally created in my image by @edibleflowers.bsky.social. I've finally drawn a new picture of her that I like. I last drew her in 2020 & I quit dying my hair since then so I've updated her to reflect that. Really happy with this one! #huntressfirefall #oc #elfenjoyers

When in this world, Ryan would usually have a breakfast made by the cook in her house (god forbid her mother ever learn to cook). So she usually got whatever she was feeling like; her favorite was poached eggs over toast and an apple to eat on the way to school. #huntressfirefall #ocsky #oc

Posting my #StarCrossedWeddingEntry for @crimsonchains.bsky.social contest! Orion loves being sparkly so they went all out for their wedding attire! They had it designed in the colors of Polaris' kingdom. I really love how this turned out! #huntressfirefall #ocsky

A portrait of Elvis Stojko, referenced from a photo taken by a friend. There's a few things I would change if I could, but I'm still happy with the shading work and what I learned about folds in fabric while doing it. Colored pencil/sketch paper, 1999. #HuntressFirefall #traditionalart #portraitart

Just found this gem in the files from my old website. During my LOTR movie phase, I drew Legolas in the style of Wendy Pini/ElfQuest. An attempt at "line art" that actually isn't too bad! Still happy with it. Colored pencil on sketchbook paper, from 2001. #HuntressFirefall #LOTR #Legolas #ElfQuest

A redesign long overdue: On the left is the new face of my Elf OC, Dragonheart; on the right is his original design which was based far too literally on the figure skater Elvis Stojko. The original drawing was done in 1998. #oc #elfenjoyers #ocsky #elfsky #huntressfirefall >>

Adding my #huntressfirefall tag here so this thread shows up in my personal feed. Some background on Tempest thanks to a thought-provoking post by @charliedeltawrites.bsky.social (thank you!)
I'll use Tempest for this since he's in my brain most lately:
Honestly, he's unlucky at first. His autonomy is taken away literally in the womb by magic intended as a gift, but he becomes something that didn't exist before him. By the time he rejoins his people they have used him as a blueprint >>

Tell me more about your #AwesomeCharacters
Do you consider your character lucky, unlucky, or neither?
Do they live a charmed life? Or do things usually go wrong for them?
Would they agree with your assessment?

It's quite late to post but I couldn't wait to: The 2026 redesign of my OC, Tempest. The star on his forehead denotes that he is half-Human and half Unicorn; he is the first of his species and was created via a Unicorn blessing him while in his mother's womb. #huntressfirefall #ocsky A short🧵:

Moonsinger is Dragonheart's daughter, and followed in his footsteps as a natural talent at sword wielding. Their tribe, the Dragonriders, are the warriors of Mythologica due in no small part to their bond-beasts being dragons. Colored pencil/sketch paper, 2002. #HuntressFirefall #elfenjoyers

Ian & Ryan both do: Ian because his family was always very active & went to the beach a lot, and Ryan learned when her mother made her swim competitively starting in grade school because her mother did through school/college, until Ryan refused once reaching high school. #huntressfirefall #ocsky
