I think I become “dangerous” when I stop automatically believing whatever shows up on my feed. If something feels off, I want to question it first and decide what I think instead of letting the post do the thinking for me. #hwa2 #becomingdangerous

The biggest thing I learned from both is to not just watch something and move on. I should think about how its affecting the way I see things, and then decide for myself if I actually agree with it. #hwa2 #somethingishappening

#whoistalking My responses actually reminded me a lot of what we talked about in HWA2. I felt like the interview required me to become more in touch with what structures my habits and how I conduct my life, even if it is a somewhat silly, small habit like drinking lemon water in the morning.

One way that I as a student might be "dangerous" is overlooking actual facts and falling for ai deception sometimes when I want to check the news or want to fact check w/ ai to be sure a certain news even occurred #hwa2 #becomingdangerous

The most important thing that hwa#2 did for me was to open my eyes and reveal that professionals vs. amateurs view and do different things. Another is that this also made me more aware of various possible anti-environments for the different mediums I use #hwa2 #somethingishappening

After absorbing TMITM, and honestly hwa2, I feel like instead of trying to pick apart the audios. I was approaching the audio, listening to the entire thing and how they worked together. Trying to figure out what kind of emotions they'd evoke. #soundstudy

I feel like amateurs can sometimes notice things experts miss because they arent already used to one “right” way of thinking. They might be wrong more often, but that also gives them more room to try something weird or different that an expert may not even consider. #hwa2 #amateurvsexpert

I think an anti-environment is basically when you change something normal enough that you finally notice how much control it had over you. Like if I deleted TikTok for a week, I would probably notice how often I automatically reach for my phone without even thinking about it. #hwa2 #antienvironment

I think following the rules of an environment always means u dont notice them. Sometimes yk exactly how something is shaping what you do, but you still have to go along with it bc thats how the system works. I feel like u can be aware of the medium and still be stuck inside it simultaneously. #hwa2

According to McLuhan, amateurs offer a sideways view to the world that experts don't-- experts view w/ a critical eye and amateurs don't know that side yet, hence they're so curious and question everything. I'd rather be an amateur because I like to stay curious and open #hwa2 #amateurvsexpert
