hydrogen's lack of density strikes again
This isn't really the point but space tourism has a huge carbon footprint.
They girlboss yassified Gilded Age space tourism.

It's not a "crew." These people are not astronauts, they are passengers. This is not feminism. This is not anywhere in the neighborhood of feminism.

This is the glossy capitalist influencer ripoff known as "empowerment" and it's just gross!

Is hydrogen low carbon? It depends, far more than most assume.

A new synthesis finds that counting the full lifecycle raises hydrogen’s emissions by ~250%. Best vs worst pathway? Up to 50x difference.

Hydrogen’s climate benefits can’t be assumed.

It's hydrogen's universe, we're just living in it.

Hydrogen. A generally lackluster idea (with a few small exceptions) and markets are figuring that out.

Hydrogen may be light by weight but storing it is inefficient and energy-intensive due to its low volumetric density and complex infrastructure needs.

Hydrogen's most likely to be useful for things electricity can't do well. So it is *not* v useful for road vehicles, and also not useful for storing power. Instead it looks like steel production, industry might be where it's helpful.

Personally, I'd doubt that H2 wins over batteries for storage

Hydrogen's distant glow opens new way to investigate dark energy
The Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment (CHIME) has shown for the first time that it can detect the faint glow of hydrogen gas from deep in the universe's past using only its own data.
