My lenses arrived I don't have such severe vision problems, I have hyperopia and astigmatism in values 0.3 and 0.5 but they do help me a lot to drive when the sunlight is very strong and at night

But if they're wearing them when doing close-up work (hyperopia or presbyopia depending on character age), they need to come off before they deal with distance.

He wears these glasses because of his hyperopia. Things that require minute scrutiny are difficult for him, which is why sometimes makes use of his voidsent's aether sensitivity when it comes to checking his patients.

The closest equivalent being Consecutive Hyperopia.
It's residual from his previous life, where he was near entirely blind. I always disliked the trope of "Powerful Now, Goodbye Disability" so I wanted to morph it, instead of be rid of it.

I JUST saw someone the other day claiming they were disabled because they had hyperopia. (Being far sighted) It's really a slap in the face for people with actual blindness

Being far-sighted/hyperopia has its advantages but when you aren't expecting a long necked freaky dino out of no where in YOUR KitChen!!!! Well you would jump out of your skin too if it happened to you. I'm sure you'd jump 10 Feet into the sky; put the Rouge in your Moulin.
