hyperperception mode. I THINK and personally believe that everything getting jacked like that and our perception going into overdrive helps us making quicker/better decisions but that I'm not 100% sure on.

Förmodligen orsaken till min hjärtinfarkt.
Nu vet jag att jag är autist och försöker dämpa intrycken på ett sundare sätt.
Men hade gärna vetat typ 35 år tidigare.

fascinating: Stowers wants to use cognitive theory to argue for a "realist" approach to religion (i.e., it's a real, transhistorical, analyzable "kind" emerging out of cognitive "tendencies")
not sure I buy it but amazing to see such a robust Theory of Religion in 2024!
