Just found these & oooohhhh baby they're still functional (at least while they're plugged in) an ipodmini and a first gen iPod touch

The mini was replaced by the touch bc she kept skipping songs iirc
The touch was replaced by my classic that I still have currently bg I kinda hated the touch screen

Mine was allowed to kind of grow with it.
IPodmini loaded with music was their first.
Their Dad bought them a Wii and other such stuff but they preferred to design dresses on the forms I drew. Paper and pencil or pen and they were in another wee world.
Many years later they still design watching tv.

特にipodで青空文庫をメモに変換して読めるソフトとかあってそれで読んでたりしてたわね…うぐぐぐぐ懐かしすぎる
2000年代はダウンロード音楽とかも普及しだして携帯音楽の転換期だったわね

I began listening in '05. CGS was on around ep. 3. I had just purchased my first iPod (a white 1st gen USB stick iPodShuffle, which I ended up exchanging shortly thereafter for a 2nd gen iPodMini on account it quickly became apparent I wanted a player with a display).

Depicted is a panel from Terry Moore's Strangers in Paradise original mini-series, which was the inspiration for my old CGS forum handle. The scene shows the aftermath of a wardrobe malfunction/co-star malfunction that transpired during a high school play main character Francine was participating in. The toga she was wearing has fallen off. Her back is turned to the reader, but her exposed front is facing a packed crowd. The parting text after Francine inadvertently just bared her chest to the crowded room is "FADE TO BLACK..." I adopted that phrase early on as my forum handle, for in a sense I was putting myself on a stage and in the spotlight. Alas, the handle "FadeToBlack" was already taken, so I settled for the phonetic equivalent, "Fade2Black".

BTW: That green iPodMini I mentioned in my post still works.

ライラさんも曲名入らないってことはわたしのPC側の問題ではなさそうですね……😩
そもそもiTunesもいつもWindowsバージョンをDLしたい人はこちら、みたいなページからわざわざDLしているので、Appleとの互換性みたいなのもあるのかな～とか思ってはいたんですけど、iPod𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶の時代から使ってるのでかなりの曲数入ってるし、頼むから使用不能にはならないで欲しいです…😭

Imac from 2010 for work at home, MacbookAir from 2010 for working in the move, Iphone 10 with new battery and screen for everyday phone as well as using an ipodmini 4 and watch 2. I love Apple product but cannot afford a new one on my salary.

I think it would be pretty neat than instead of celebrating when we all get a brand new product, we instead brag about how long we have had our things and still use them.
I've had my iphone 6s since 2016 and just replaced it with a hand-me-down iphone 11.
