Next, a decent looking Dell Inspiron 1150 with an Intel Celeron. Charger included, and a bizarre Compaq Presario that I think is kinda ripping off the iBook G3? The blue parts are sticky old melty rubber.

I now have four iBooks: a 300 MHz Blueberry iBook, two 366 MHz Indigo FireWire iBooks, and a 500 MHz snow iBook.

I upgraded the iBook with a 256 MB RAM stick and a 32 GB Compact Flash card for an SSD, but it kept abruptly going to sleep — even when booting.
I opened it up today and replaced the DC-In and Charging boards, and now the iBook runs stable and doesn't randomly go to sleep anymore. :D

I just fixed an original Blueberry clamshell iBook G3!
I received the iBook in the mail yesterday, and it's in excellent condition, with very few cracks or scratches (and the Apple logo hasn't popped out of the lid, which is very common for clamshell iBooks).

as is tradition, i bought a facebook marketplace computer while on vacation. this time it's an iBook G3 (600MHz, 2002) that was $15.
turns out it was an ex-SFUSD machine, which I guessed. the hard drive was fairly clean, but there was a photo of...the computer! dated October 2005, specifically
