#Booksky As I look at yet another IBPA article pushing AI like they own stock in it, I’ve decided to move Queen of Swords Press marketing in a bold new direction: “Artisanal queer books by creators who give a crap.” I think it has legs. queenofswordspress.com

Feeling more and more like there needs to be an organization that represents smaller genre publishers. The regional orgs aren’t great with genre and IBPA sends out gibberish about AI like the leadership team owns stock in it and everything else (that I know of) is focused on “literary” presses. 🤔

#Booksky This is a nice piece and worth reading w/ two additional thoughts:
1. Lack of us! We’re right here and our books have even been reviewed on Reactor. We have award-winning books and were a 2024 IBPA Innovative Voices Finalist. Discover us!
2. SPD primarily distroed nonsfnal titles.
"It has always taken more legwork to find the artists working outside of the best-known systems. It has always been worth it."
