Close-ups really help. I have an iphone app called iCamera that has a macro setting so I can get pretty small. There’s also lenses you can clip on.

The older iMacs up to 2011 have awesome speakers, a DVD player and the iCamera just works. I am running Pop!_OS 24.04 on a 2011 iMac.

Jesus. I didn’t buy an iCamera. Not all of us are taking 300 selfies a day. Maybe make sure the stuff you’ve already put out works? HomeKit is a bloody mess and the Podcast App isn’t far behind. Ooh, another camera feature…let’s make the bump on the back even bigger so my phone never sits flush.

Charlotte, I'm using system76.com/pop/download/ right now on my 2015 macbook pro, works fine. Apple firmware blocks the icamera and the SSD reader, but everything else rocks. Try it before you buy it :)

むちゃくちゃ暴論をいうと、個人的には
・iPhoneにはカメラ要らないor記録用のしょぼいの1個とかでよくてとにかく小型化してほしい。持ちにくいし重い。
・カメラは別でiCameraみたいなのあると嬉しい(ミラーレス持ち歩くのつらいから)
ついでに、Apple Watchにも画面要らない。毎日電池無くなる時計は時計としてゴミすぎる。バイタルログ専用機がほしい(睡眠や運動のログが純正がいいから結果的にApple Watch使ってる)
でもiPhone13miniが不振だったから、わざわざiPadとか持ち歩かない層が大半で、オールインワンがやっぱり需要高いんだろうな
