really interesting cause bluesky did none of this when someone posted a whole icloud drive filled with nudes that had been scraped off the site (incl deleted ones)

me: use tailscale taildrop (requires auth), Localsend (LAN only), or Pairdrop (potentially slow over internet)
coworker: Localsend looked sketchy to me so instead i did this 4th harder thing (icloud) and it was a pain in the ass :(

If you have an iPhone, iCloud offers a "hide my email" that generates a burner email you can disable once you're done.

I think it’s coz I’m using iCloud and not their own cloud storage. But still. It keeps giving me a small heart attack lol.
