Finally all wired up and ready to go (apart from needing to order a bunch of XLR adapters). So many cables involved I’m amazed it all works without some crackles & hums

Update/PSA that over time, having two of these did start causing problems when they were both connected at the same time. I ended up switching to several iConnectivity mioXL interfaces connected over ethernet. The midiplus is still solid if you're not some maniac that needs more than one of them 🤪
Added a second one of these Midiplus interfaces and they’ve been seeming to work well with each other the past two weeks. My Mac got them mixed up a couple of times but was easily resolved by reconnecting them again. Could be a good budget option if you need tons of MIDI I/O!

Oh great. Got an eBay buyer demanding a refund for an iConnectivity MIDI4+ because “it doesn’t work”. It absolutely does, but requires patience as it’s so convoluted and technical. Pain in the arse

iConnectivity mioXL is awesome. there is a smaller version if that is overkill for your needs. It is called the Mio XM. Honestly, it could have been fine for me for how I use it but it was a desktop unit and I have a thing for my 19-inch racks.

They’re all chained for audio but I also have two iConnectivity MIO XLs on each side of my studio so I can automate FX parameters via MIDI so they’re all chained to a MIDI out port and patched into my patchbay so I can pick them on a send or buss
