A little clumsy at faster tempos, but messing around with a RLK LRK triplet pattern. It took a little work getting comfy with the hi hat clicking against that beat, but it's getting there.

Here's the main groove I came up with after messing around today.

There's something really satisfying about playing the hi-hat/ tambourine in a way that turns the beat around.

I was originally playing it every quarter note, which means it didn't have that effect. But suddenly playing every-other-hit turned it into another 3 against 4 beat.
