nice, an independent image/blob service for atproto (eg, for building a CDN)
fwiw, bluesky builds on imgproxy (which is open source), and any of these components could be combined with cheap CDN services like fastly or cloudflare for small indie projects

PinkSea is now running on top of a custom ATProto image proxy! we've ditched cdn.bsky.app to be more reliant on only ourselves and introduced github.com/shinolabs/ha... instead

In light of recent events we are now running on our own cdn! If you see any issues let us know. We're using @blooym.dev's porxie with imgproxy and @bunny.net. This also means we can finally add our own presets 🥳

I've built a slightly nicer ATProto Blob proxy that's performs proper validations on blob content and can handle moderation takedowns.
The docs include a rough guide for configuring it, alongside steps to use with imgproxy and how to get a similar experience to bskys CDN.

Breaking news: imgproxy now supports JPEG XL! We added this much-anticipated feature to the `latest` build of our Docker images. We usually don't announce features not in release yet, but we think this one deserves special treatment 🍭.
