The Conjuring ~ 💜

Bathing in moonlight and convening with the dead, we summon starlight armor clad in energy of blue and red...

#VRPhotography #VRChat #OC #Art #Immersivism
OC Astra stands in the middle of a graveyard path flanked by two lit lanterns. The moon shines high above as light cascades through fog down across multiple Mousoleum roofs. Large obelisk like stone constructions are seen standing tall, pointed skyward.

The Sacrifice ~ 💜

Deep in the dark of night, levitation and chanting mystify the mind.

OC Astra lies back on a sacrificial altar within a graveyard. The moon shines down bright from afar as Adtra arches her back levitating and crossing her arms in front of her face. In the distance obelisks and the weeping branches of aged willows can be seen casting long shadows through the fog in the air. OC Astra is pictured blocking out the corner of the frame leaning in from a weird angle under the staircase of a house gesturing towards a glowing dancing skeleton. In the left of frame a jack-o-lantern is seen on the same hearth as the skeleton.

This is Halloween, this is Halloween, pumpkins scream in the dead of night! ~ 💜

I made this at the end of my session on Tuesday and I'm proud of how it turned out. xD
Tried my best to mimmick the camera and stance, though Astra is much taller than Sora

OC Astra is pictured standing inside of the courtyard of Halloween Town from the Kingdom Hearts 1 game standing idle with a large inflatable scimitar. The UI from KH1 is present on screen and in place of Sora's head in the middle of the health/mana bars Astra's face is seen peaking through the opening.

Graveyard Greeting. ~ 💜

The feeling of being followed persists after checking over your shoulder. "It's normal to experience anxiety in the graveyard, right?" you mumble under your breath placing the flowers at the familiar headstone before you.

#VRPhotography #OC #Art #Immersivism #ItsWeen
A photo of a graveyard and crypt during a foggy night. The moon shines bright through the two withering willow trees leaving streaks of shadow like tendrils of the night hanging silently in the fog. Many gravestones line the ground in two areas ahead of the viewer and Astra's half grinning face is seen breaking the side profile of the large crypt to the left of frame eyeing the viewer.

OC Astra stands in the corner of a room with red decorative wallpaper, a potted cacti and a jack-o-lantern holding a bloody hand axe over her shoulders behind her head with both arms. The shape/setting also reminds me of toy boxes, like with Barbie or other dolls that often include accessories and a viewing window in the front of the packaging.

Trangles. ~ 🫰💜

I love a good onion or green onion day at the grocery store. Both happening on the same day? Now that's epic. It's the little things.

#VRPhotography #VRChat #OC #Art #Immersivism
A gigantic triangular megalithic structure is seen in the distance with sun cascading across the face from between the clouds. Separated from the viewer by a large body of water, the structure dwarfs traditional buildings size as waves crash against the flat exterior. There are two large dark rectangular holes leading into the interior inciting curiosity and wonder. OC Astra's shadow is cast long across a field of green grass in the foreground flowing in the wind as she beholds the view.

"Look through the stone" ~ 💜

Taken through the large gauge piercing in Astra's right ear. The reflection and shape are very satisfying. Holding my arm out perpendicularly behind my head tweaked my neck. xD

A picture through the large gauge piercing in Astra's right ear 'lobe.' Behind her you can see her hand motioning as if to invite the viewer into the experience and a large circular glowing orange hole/tunnel through rock. Cinders and ash float through the air.

Felt a little bit of Ween here. ~ 💜

Together with throng and moonlight, we may all dance and thrive. Branching paths, brighter tomorrow, envisioned through mind's eye. Perhaps on long thought carrion wings of night, tomorrow's divergent future will fly.

#VRPhotography #VRChat #OC #Art #Immersivism
OC Astra is pictured standing at the base of a beautiful hilltop castle town beneath moonlight. At the top of a few of the buildings there are lightning rods attracting electricity. Lit fires beneath chimneys waft smoke into the air as some clouds drift peacefully across the sky. Several ravens sit atop buildings and a few fly through the air.

Monday vibes in a Taco Tuesday form factor. Little bit sore, little bit burnt out. Have a great evening.

The color Purple does not exist. ~ 💜

The colors blue and red exist at opposite ends of a visible spectrum of light that we as humans can perceive. The full spectrum continues beyond what is visible to us. This means our brains hallucinate purple. 🤭

Sometimes I like to include the ghosted controller to ground the photo within the VR universe. Jedi hand swipe, immersively pressing the button. 😜

#VRPhotography #VRChat #OC #Art #Immersivism
OC Astra walks towards a large blast door in the process of opening vertically. The door is at the front entrance of a club in a cyberpunk inspired world. Astra reaches out towards a panel on the wall swiping with two forefingers extended and a Index controller mimmicking the idea of some tech interracting with the button from short distance. Above on the walls surrounding her you can see a sign for the club "K" and an illuminated "Open" sign.

Users of the grid. ~ 💜

Coming into work on my 'Monday,' finding myself crashing out already. Everywhere I turn somebody has neglected to do their job in favor of leaving it for someone else to fix. Strange how that all accumulates at the bottom.(/S)

#VRPhotography #VRChat #OC #Art #Immersivism
OC Astra is just outside of a window with cozily decorated window sill. The physical framing of the window makes for a pattern photographers will regornize as familiar to the grid used in cameras for framing. Outside of the window a large white glowing tree is contrasted against a blue, purple and pink grandient stary skybox and dark grass beneath it. Rain falls softly at a slight angle, the grass is dormant but a pulse of energy emminates outward from where Astra stands. Astra stands with her hands out palm upwards embracing the rain and appearing to interract with the light expanding outwards in the grass quickly climbing the small hill the white glowing tree is rooted upon.

#VRPhotography #VRChat #OC #Art #Immersivism
OC Astra stands at a window admiring the outside leaning gently against the window frame. The window frame puts up some make shift framing grids which I played with compositionally. Outside of the window it is raining gently, water rests on the surface of the window. A large tree with glowing white leaves and a dark trunk makes great contrast against a beautiful blue, purple and pink grandient star filled sky. A single swing hangs from a branch on the tree motionless.

Here is another one of these for a Sunday. I have one shot in this world from a long time ago, and I am glad that I returned. Something about the rainbow in the sky above the clouds is really compelling.

#VRPhotography #VRChat #OC #Art #Immersivism
This photo is another in a series that was inspired by 'infinite zoom' art where the canvas can be zoomed in or out on infinitely and drawings are interconnected. This is shot with the VRC "Print" camera and it leaves a thick white border around the photo mimmicking instant photos such as Polaroid. Each photo gets placed into a new environment and I line up existing pieces of the photo with similar things in the new world creating a portal effect like looking at a different place and time but things still line up. In this photo there is a sakura tree taking up most of the frame as a large holographic whale swims through the air above the clouds. In the sky many stars that shine brightly are accented by rainbow gradients painting everything a shade of gay. The previous photo in the series is positioned in front of the trunk of the sakura with a lantern lined up at the edge of it's frame with another lantern in the new environment. The stars from the previous shot are angled diagonally across frame and are also lined up with the whale as it 'swims out from behind' the previous shot.

"Oh, I forgot. You're broken. I don't want to play with you anymore."

OC Astra hangs lifelessly in the air from her waist. Her limbs, tail and neck hang down in kind. The background is mostly greyscale with roots reaching down from above and blotches of grey that hang in the air reminding me of soot. Along the edges of the photo there are highlights of color in the form of flowering plantlife in bright blue, yellow, pink and greens.

OC Astra holds up a hand sign from my childhood that meant "I love you." It is a mixture of ASL hand sign letters "I," "L," and "Y" with the pinky, pointer, and thumb extended while the middle and ring finger are curled into the palm. Astra's hand narrowly obscures her exposed chest and the pointer finger covers her mouth compositionally. Behind her, the environment is greyscale with splotches of grey hanging in the air at different distances reminding me of soot, roots reach down from above and large vibrant flowers are the only other color in the piece around the bottom of the composition.
