I disabled my right arm with acute tendonitis *and* bursitis with a suspected damaged rotator cuff two weeks before Christmas ... by sleeping.
This is also how I earned a week with my right knee imobilized a couple of years ago.

Had to do the same a few years back and cried and cried. My regret is that we let it go on a bit too long and he was suffering with some tumors that imobilized him the last couple days. I'm sure you did the right thing. So sorry..

I threw my back out after The Gane last year. I was basically immobile for 48 hrs (like seriously imobilized). I don’t believe in god but I thank him/her every day that I didn’t have to poop during that time stuck on the couch. And yet all the time I’m still like “BEST DAY OF THE YEAR”. 🫠

Either way there should be a full recovery. If he does have to go through rehab from a repair, the leg atrophies while imobilized so it's quite a recovery to get back to full strength. A resection is minor rehab.
Long term he has some risk for recurrent knee issues depending on how things turn out.

I went to the doctor, I'll keep imobilized, I'll start physiotherapy and acupuncture, and do some more exams, so basically, let's see...
I have chronic pain, not nice, but work out + meds help a lot. But, sometimes, my body rebels itself, and I get hurt without any apparent reason. Now is one of those. The doctor asked for an exam to see if I have to go through surgery. It's imobilized now. If u think of me, send good vibes ❤️

So not politics but just me whining, 15 weeks ago, on January 16th at 4:30 am, I broke my humerus and ow, fucking ow, it still hurts! It has never been imobilized. This looks really good he tells me. It might stop hurting in 4 weeks he tells me. I've got stuff I'd like to do that isn't being done.
