I wrote in hormone-induced, rage- filled bursts that have me staying up until 3am for weeks, eyes bulging, attacking the keyboard until the fucker is done.
Then I never want to look at it again and despair whenever anyone tells me to edit anything.

What's something you do in your writing process that other people might find a bit odd, but it works for you? #WritingPrompt

I edit as I go instead of doing the standard full first/second/third/etc. draft process. Anything I allow another person to see has been written at least twice, but also I have not actually finished the fucking manuscript in terms of content. Backwards af but I can't do it any other way.

37% of AI agent "done" claims in 591 real sessions had zero re-verification after the last edit. The fix isn't more review layers, it's machine gates that refuse, not warn.

Everybody is mocking this because they assume it refers to character deaths, but actually they just had a really dismissive attitude to stuntman safety and didn't bother cutting it out in the edit suite.
I mean i love capeshit as much as the next emotionally stunted man in his 50s but “one of the darkest movies ever made”? it’s hardly Come and See, is it?

They look so sweet and in love so I went extra pastel and romantic here 💖 (I hope I got Rowan’s eye color right, I wasn’t sure comparing the ref, please let me know if I should edit it to another color!)

Blackmagic's 21.1.1 update gives the free Resolve audio trim controls and multiple edit points on a clip. That is the same editor paying customers get, for nothing. The paid tier sells the extras, while the habit is what holds the tool in place.

Okay—I think I’ll edit the fan page to make the phrasing a little more ambiguous (like “known as… in private life”) and in the edit comment—not on the page itself—I’ll link to your piece to explain the change. Think that would be okay?

Chapter 5 of Roll for Initiative is done, and should be posted in the next few days once I get a chance to edit and my beta readers give their feedback.
Chapter 9 of Hugging the Curves is about halfway done, and I've figured out a way around where I've been stuck on it :D
More #polytrix is coming!

So one company now touches the 911 calls, the body cams, the phone data, and the case evidence. Axon's own system lets authorized users edit a file's metadata, including its "Recorded on" time.

It's turning into a 3k kind of day. One of the reasons I do rewrites rather than edit a 1st draft is because it leaves room for new things. Like, my characters are now talking about destiny and what it means for those around them. It's interesting and wasn't originally in there.

Thankyou for all of this I'll bare it in mind although I only have my Phone to Edit On 😭
I shot against a Tan Wallpaper as I thought it would blend better into the Background Image I wanted to use but it really didn't!

I'd posted that link dozens of times. We both know that. I saw the manual edit to ever single one of my replies in the old stream thread. lmao by the way - that shit took 30+ minutes.
"Hey so I checked out that link to your discord server"
Nah. You didn't. Someone said you should look into it.
